Here are some tips and tricks to make your traveling go smoother:
- Book the right flight.
- Bring an umbrella with you.
- Pack light, but bring essential items.
- Pack water in a small bottle, not a big one!
- Pack snacks and drinks for the flight and carry on luggage if necessary (if you are traveling long distance by air).
- Get a good sleep before your trip so you can wake up refreshed and energetic!
- If you are going to be indoors for a long time during your trip, plan ahead to take a shower or bath at least once or twice during the day (or night).
- Bring something that you can read during the trip like a magazine or book so that when you have nothing else to do, you can sit down and enjoy it!
- Plan out how long each location will take (how far away is it?) so that when you arrive at your destination, there is no confusion about where exactly it is located .
- Make sure everything has been packed well in advance.
- Pack light, carry a small backpack for essentials and carry a large backpack for all the other stuff you want to bring with you on your trip.
- When traveling in a group, try to keep everyone together as much as possible so that you can still talk and hang out even if one person gets lost or confused somewhere along the way.
- If there’s a problem at an airport or hotel, don’t be afraid to talk about it immediately with the employees who work there so that they can fix it for you as soon as possible rather than having to report it later on in a different way (e.g., through travel review websites).
- Stay away from expensive hotels if you can afford anything else; cheap hotels are usually better quality and cheaper than expensive ones in most cases anyway, so why pay more money?
